Sudeep, who is fondly called as Kicha by his fans, has been honoured with a special title by the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV). The actor has been rechristened Abhinaya Chakravarthi by the pro-Kannada organisation at Puttanna Chetty Hall on Friday (June 29).
The event was inaugurated by Jaya Mruthyunjaya Swamiji and Home Minister Ashoka. Rebel Star Ambareesh felicitated Sudeep by crowning the title. His parents, actors Chiru Sarja, Vishwas, Narayana Gowda, the president of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike and many prominent names from Kannada film industry were present at the event.
Sudeep shared his joy on Twitter. He wrote, "Its been a very special n an emotional moment in my life...I'v only wrkd to make a small place in ur hearts n u showered me wth soo mch luv. Spcial tnx to Narayan Gowdru,,,,fr ths wndrful honor..... Tnx to my producers ,directors, co-actors, media,writers, lyrists,musik dirs,dance n fite mastrs,mkup,costumers,units, n to all my frns n fans (sic)."
He also thanked Ambareesh for gracing the occasion. He wrote, "Ambareesh mama,,,,tnxxxx....ur presence was th greatest blessing...luv u-kiccha (sic)." On the professional front, Sudeep is eagerly waiting for the release of his much-hyped Telugu film Eega, Kunwar Lal, Kottigobba, Bachchan and Police Story 3 are his forthcoming movies.
