Despite more than 100 Kannada movies hitting the dust with no buyers of satellite rights, A-listers movies have continued to attract television channels. Well, Sudeep's forthcoming film Bachchan has been sold to a leading television for a fancy price.

Bangalore Mirror has reported that Sudeep's Bachchan has been acquired by a television channel for Rs 3.33 crore. Traders add that the success of Sudeep's last few films including his Telugu film Eega was one the key factors considered by the channel before fixing the price, as it is said to be the highest-ever price for the satellite rights of a Sudeep film.

Meanwhile, the shooting of Bachchan is progressing at a brisk pace. Bachchan is directed by Shahshank and it features Bhavana, Tulip Joshi and Parul Yadav in the female lead roles. Ashish Vidyarthi, Pradeep Singh Rawat and Ravishankar will be doing key roles in Bachchan and Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu will be playing an important character in the film.

Shashank's trusted aide Prasanna, who penned dialogues for his earlier movies like Krishnan Love Story and Krishnan Marriage Story has written the dialogues for this movie too. V Harikrishna is composing the music for the forthcoming film.
