Kicha
Sudeep,
who
is
the
newborn
superstar
of
South
India,
is
on
cloud
nine
after
his
performance
in
Telugu
movie
Eega
being
acknowledged
by
all
the
major
film
industries
of
India.
The
actor,
who
is
on
a
promotional
spree,
has
thanked
the
media
and
fans
for
giving
an
overwhelming
response
and
said
that
matinee
idol
of
Sandalwood
Dr
Rajkumar
too
did
negative
roles.
Sudeep
was
repeatedly
asked
about
his
decision
on
doing
a
negative
role
by
his
fans
for
which
the
actor
replied
that
the
iconic
star
Rajkumar
was
also
seen
in
the
role
of
baddie.
"In
Bhakta
Prahalada,
Rajkumar
enacted
the
character
of
Hiranyakashipu.
When
the
superstar
of
his
calibre
had
done
such
roles,
then
why
do
I
have
issues
to
do
negative
characters.
After
all,
we
are
actors
and
have
to
do
variety
of
roles."
"When
SS
Rajamouli
sir
narrated
the
one-line
story
of
Eega,
I
gave
nod
to
the
film
without
a
second
thought.
I
felt
that
I
could
do
justice
to
the
role
and
I
have
tried
my
best
to
live
up
to
the
director's
expectations," Sudeep
adds.
The
actor
further
claims
that
Kannada
film
industry
has
given
him
the
name
and
fame
and
he
will
never
leave
Sandalwood
for
other
industries.
Sudeep
ends
on
the
note
that
even
though
he
has
started
getting
offers
from
Tamil
and
Telugu
industries,
he
has
not
signed
movie
yet,
as
the
actor
has
to
complete
quite
a
few
Kannada
movies.
Meanwhile,
SS
Rajamouli's
techno
graphical
extravaganza
Eega,
which
also
features
Samantha
and
Nani,
is
doing
rocking
business
at
the
Box
Office.
