Upendra's directorial next: A sequel to Upendra?

The count for the 42nd birthday of Upendra has begun. Well, it will be marked with the commencement of his next directorial movie, which has generated a lot of curiosity among his fans. But the question that's really bothering the audience is - What would be in the offing? Well, there are strong speculations that he is planning a sequel to his blockbuster movie Upendra.

Uppi had earlier told Oneindia that he was busy penning a script to the sequel of Upendra. But in the recent times, he has not confirmed it rather the director-turned-actor had claimed that he was having several scripts in hand. However, when we approached again, he refused to spill the bean on the project and requested us to wait till September 18.

"I am still not sure of it, as I have many scripts. I can only tell you to wait till September 18," said the Real Star. On the other end, there are also buzz that he may either direct a sequel to Upendra or Super. There are also possibilities of the director doing a fresh subject, which is said to be a psychological-thriller that took birth in him a few years ago.
