Upendra's
fourth
film
of
the
year
is
ready
to
hit
the
screens
tomorrow.
After
Aarakshaka,
Katari
Veera
Surasundarangi
and
Godfather,
he
is
back
with
Kalpana.
The
horror-comedy
is
releasing
tomorrow
(September
28)
in
over
90
screens
in
Karnataka.
The
makers
of
the
film
have
announced
that
Kalpana
will
see
the
light
of
the
day
tomorrow
in
over
90
screens.
In
Bangalore
alone,
it
is
releasing
in
22+
theatres.
It
is
said
that
the
number
of
screens
might
be
increased
in
the
next
week
if
it
get
positive
feedbacks.
The
trailer
of
the
film
and
promotional
materials
have
generated
huge
hype
around
the
movie.
Especially,
the
avatars
of
Sai
Kumar
and
Uppi
have
impressed
the
audience.
Though
some
of
the
songs
are
good
in
the
album,
the
release
of
the
album
in
hush-hush
manner
and
lack
of
publicity
have
not
popularised
the
album.
Kalpana
was
supposed
to
release
in
October.
But
the
plans
of
release
got
changed,
as
there
are
many
films
(Tamil
and
Kannada)
hitting
screens
next
month.
To
avoid
the
theatre
issues,
the
movie
bosses
wrapped
up
the
film
quickly
and
made
it
ready
for
release
this
month.
Adding
to
that
Upendra's
birthday
season
has
given
good
publicity
to
the
movie.
Kalpana
stars
Upendra,
Sai
Kumar
and
Lakshmi
Rai
in
the
lead
roles.
Shruti
and
Umashri
have
done
key
roles
in
the
movie.
It
is
a
remake
of
Tamil
hit
movie
Kanchana,
which
starred
Raghava
Lawrence
and
Sarath
Kumar.
The
upcoming
movie
is
directed
by
Rama
Narayan.
