Late
Yash
Chopra's
1975s
Bollywood
blockbuster
Deewaar
is
all
set
to
be
remade
in
Kannada.
The
Hindi
film,
which
starred
Amitabh
Bachchan
and
Shashi
Kapoor,
is
likely
to
feature
Sudeep,
who
has
acted
in
a
few
Hindi
films,
and
Darshan
in
the
lead
roles.
Indrajit
Lankesh
has
acquired
the
rights
of
the
film
and
he
is
game
for
the
remake.
The
director
has
said
that
he
wants
to
cast
Sudeep
and
Darshan
in
the
roles
played
by
Amitabh
Bachchan
and
Shashi
Kapoor
in
the
original.
"I
acquired
the
remake
rights
of
Deewaar
when
Yash
Chopra
ji
was
alive.
Sudeep
and
Darshan,
in
my
opinion,
could
enact
the
roles
played
by
Big
B
and
Shashi
Kapoor.
I
had
expressed
my
wish
to
remake
when
I
met
Darshan
last
time
but
nothing
has
been
finalised.
It
all
depends
upon
their
available
dates," Indrajit
told
Janashri.
According
to
the
director,
no
other
actors
than
Sudeep
and
Darshan
could
do
such
roles
in
Sandalwood.
However,
he
is
hopeful
that
his
dream
project
could
happen
sometime
next
year.
Deewaar

Box
Office.
Deewaar
Deewaar
not
only
had
an
excellent
story
but
also
had
punch
dialogues.
Some
of
the
dialogues
from
the
film
are
popular
even
today.
Deewaar
The
below
given
dialogue
is
a
very
famous
dialogue.
Vijay:
Aaj
mere
paas
bangla
hai,
gadi
hai,
paisa
hai.......tumhare
paas
kya
hai?
Ravi:
Mere
paas
Maa
hai!
Deewaar
Parveen
Babi's
role
of
a
drinking,
smoking
and
sleeping
with
her
beau
had
broken
the
traditional
way
of
portraying
female
leads
in
Indian
cinema.
Sudeep
and
Darshan
Will
Sudeep
and
Darshan
agree
to
