Kannada actor Harsha's house was looted by the four men, threatening the actor and four member of his family, on Sunday night. It is reported that the culprits fled with mobile phone, cash, gold and silver articles, which is worth Rs 8 lakhs.
Harsha had played an important role in Sandalwood's recent release Raja Huli starring Sensational Star Yash and Meghana Raj in the leads. The actor is staying with his father Prakash, mother Vimala and a relative in Nagarabhavi layout, Bangalore West.
Talking about the incident, Harsha reveled, "I was back from the shooting late night, it was around 9.45 pm. I was parking my motorcycle inside, when the four men walked in and pulled out the machetes." The four men locked Harsha and his family members in a bedroom and looted the house.
"When my father tried to put up resistance, one of them placed his machete to his neck. I pleaded with the men not to harm anyone and told them I'd cooperate. My mother offered her mangalsutra, but they refused to take it. They ordered us not to shout for help or move, locked the main door from outside, and fled. We called our neighbours and relatives. One of them discovered the keys kept near the gate and opened the door," Harsha added.
