Kannada yesteryear actor Ananth Nag and actress Vinaya Prasad, who has shared a best onscreen chemistry in Kannada film industry, in early 90s, has made their appearance in small screen.
The duo has been paired in ace director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar's TV soap Nithyotsava. The serial will be broadcast in Zee Kannada Channel, from Monday to Friday at 8 pm. It is the second edition of the mini-serial run by the channel, where the first edition was the comedy tonic Bhale Basava.
In 2000, the multi-talented actor Ananth Nag was seen in the TV serial Gharva, which was directed by Nagendra Sha. On the other hand, Vinaya Prasad was also seen in Nandagokula, which marked the Television debut of Kannada actress Radhika Pandit.
Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, who is famous for his movies like Kotreshi Kanasu, America America, Nanna Preethiya Hudugi and Mathad Mathad Mallige, had also directed the well-known TV serials like Vatara, Punya, Bhagya, Kaveri and Apartments. Nithyotsava is a mini-serial with limited number of episodes, which is written by MS Sreeram.
Ananth Nag and Vinaya Prasad were seen in the comedy thrillers like Ganeshana Maduve and Gowri Ganesha, which was directed by Pani Ramachandra. They also shared screen space in the horror thriller Aathanka.
