Tamil
superstar
Kamal
Hassan,
who
was
in
Bangalore
on
Saturday,
(Oct
5),
addressed
the
press
conference
in
Bangalore
Press
Club.
The
actor
spoke
about
various
issues
like
politics,
controversies
and
his
upcoming
movie
Vishwaroopam
2,
which
is
the
sequel
of
Vishwaroopam.
The
Tamil
icon
also
addressed
various
issues,
which
are
faced
by
Indian
film
industries.
He
also
discussed
the
most
sensitive
issue
of
the
Sandalwood,
dubbing,
and
said
that
there
should
not
be
any
barriers
on
other
language
films,
but
we
should
accept
everything.
Talking
about
the
issue,
Kamal
Hassan
said,
"There
should
not
be
any
restrictions
on
other
language
films.
There
should
not
be
protective
measures
by
the
state
government.
The
industry
should
be
open
for
the
competition.
But
the
flip
side
of
the
dubbing
is
that
the
originality
will
be
lost
and
people
could
not
connect
to
it.
However,
it
is
only
my
personal
opinion
and
I
am
not
endorsing
it."
"Seniors,
who
brought
the
dubbing,
did
it
in
the
best
interest
of
the
industry.
Their
decision
helped
the
industry
to
grow.
But
I
am
not
sure
whether
it
will
help
any
industry
to
grow," Kamal
added.
Meanwhile,
Kamal
is
all
set
to
join
hands
with
his
old
friend
Ramesh
Aravind
for
the
bilingual
movie,
which
will
be
made
in
Kannada
and
Tamil.
He
also
said
that
he
wants
to
reach
the
larger
audience
in
the
South.
