It is not Arun Sagar, Narendra Babu Sharma or Nikita Thukral, but Vijay Raghavendra, who is the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss Kannada. In a tough battle between Arun and Vijay, the latter got the maximum votes from audience to be crowned as the winner of the opening edition, which is hosted by Kiccha Sudeep.
It was an exciting evening where the grand finale was packed with dance performances, awards and emotional moments. The final episode, which began a few minutes before 8 pm, ended at midnight 12.30 am. The families of all the four finalists except Narendra Babu Sharma were present at the grand finale along with other 11 contestants.

47 cameras captured 98 days of four contestants in the Bigg Boss house. Their fights, frustration, anger, happiness and various other moments were witnessed by the audience. According to Sudeep, the finalists had got good number of votes from people and there was a tough competition between all the four. Arun Sagar, A True Gentlemen
Like a true gentlemen, Arun Sagar, who was a strong contender, was not disappointed with the verdict and wished Vijay Raghavendra a good luck. The actor and art director said that he has seen both success and failure in life, and has never bothered too much about the outcome.
Prior to the announcement, the other contestants were given strange awards like Rishika Singh getting Kirick Party Award and Thilak-Shweta Pandit receiving Best Couple Awards.
Sanjjanna, Rishika Singh, Nurse Jayalakshmi, Chandrika, Aparna, Anushree and Shweta Pandit performed for various numbers at the grand finale. The songs include Hindi and Kannada.
Golden Ganesh's Dance
Golden Star Ganesh entertained audience by dancing for some of the songs from his recently released Auto Raja. He spoke about the show and the film at the grand finale.
