For newcomers, Mysore Mallige was a classic film and it is considered as one of the best screen adaptation from a literary work. It was based on the poems of KS Narasimhaswamy and had portrayed rural life and the pre-independence movement.
KS Narasimhaswamy's collection of poems inspired the film Mysore Mallige, which the critics lauded then. The movie, which was made in 1992, had won several awards.
Now, the latest movie coming up with the same title did not go well with a section of people, and TS Nagabharana, who shared his unhappiness over naming the forthcoming film as Mysore Mallige.
