Kiccha Sudeep, who is again wearing director's hat for Kannada's forthcoming movie, which is the remake of Telugu flick Mirchi, has made a costly set. The set reportedly costs Rs 35 lakhs.

It is reported that Sudeep has renovated the permanent set in pear city Hyderabad, which was used for the shooting of more than 25 Telugu movies. It was built for SS Rajamouli's Maryada Ramana, which underwent many changes in the later days. But, the biggest change has now been made for the Kannada film.

It is said that Kiccha is very much impressed with the renovation of the set, and is all set to give a high voltage performance for the Kannada audience. The crew has started its shoot with the working title as Manikya. The original movie had Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Sathyaraj in the lead roles. While Sudeep will be enacting the role played by Prabhas in the original, Ravichandran will be stepping into the shoes of Sathyaraj in the Kannada version.

More importantly, major changes have been made in the script for Ravichandran's character. Sathyaraj had played the role of Prabhas' father in the film. But in the Kannada version, the Crazy Star will be seen as Sudeep's brother.
