Crazy Star Ravichandran turns 52 today

By Ramchander

Multifaceted Ravichandran injected freshness when the industry was lacking new ideas. He brought changes in picturising songs and made other industries look at Sandalwood for inspiration. His technical brilliance won him a lot of appreciation from not only in Karnataka, but also from other states. The actor, who is fondly called by the name Crazy Star, is turning 52 today (May 30).

Birthday Celebration
If you have plans to visit his Rajajinagar house and wish him on his birthday, then please cancel your plans. This year, he has disappointed you all as he is not going to meet any one. It is because he is on a pilgrimage to Shirdi and will be returning only day after tomorrow to Bangalore. The actor has also asked his fans not to visit his office and cut off their plans.

His absence has obviously made his fans unhappy. More than that there is a shocking news, which we had reported on Wednesday (May 29). If you have not read it, please follow the slideshow to know about it...

Ravichandran, who changed the dynamics of filmmaking in Sandalwood, is bidding goodbye to films. It comes as an unimaginable shock, as actors, much senior to him in other industries, are still acting in films. Not to forget, legendary Dr Rajkumar and Dr Vishnuvardhan never bid goodbye to acting till their last breathe.

The man, who said that he lives and breaths cinema, has made his mind to concentrate on his sons' - Manoranjan and Vikram - careers in acting. "Once my children make their debuts, it will not be nice for me to vie for a share of the same market. As a father, it is my responsibility to make way for them and help them in making a mark in the industry," the Times of India quoted Ravichandran as saying.
