record
in
Sandalwood.
The
satellite
rights
of
the
actor's
forthcoming
movie
Bul
Bul
has
been
sold
for
a
record
price.
Thanks
to
the
massive
success
of
his
last
two
outings,
Sarathi
and
Kranthiveera
Sangolli
Rayanna,
as
it
made
the
channel
to
quote
the
fancy
price.
According
to
reports,
BulBul
has
been
acquired
by
a
popular
TV
channel
for
Rs
4.15
crore.
The
amount
paid
for
the
satellite
rights
is
the
highest
for
a
Kannada
film
till
date.
The
film
has
broken
the
record
of
Puneet
Rajkumar's
Anna
Bond,
which
had
fetched
Rs
4
crore
for
the
makers
of
the
movie.
It
has
to
be
noted
that
Darshan's
Kranthiveera
Sangolli
Rayanna
satellite
rights
has
not
been
sold
yet
as
the
producer
Anand
Appugol
is
awaiting
for
the
right
price.
Currently,
the
film
is
being
offered
mammoth
Rs
6
crore.
Bul
Bul
is
directed
by
MD
Sridhar
and
produced
by
Dinakar
Toogudeep.
The
film
has
V
Harikrishna's
music
and
it
is
a
remake
of
Telugu
hit
film
Darling.
The
flick
also
features
Rachita
Ram,
Ambareesh,
Sharath
Lohitashwa
and
others
in
the
cast.
