South actor Kamal Hassan, who was in Bangalore city last Friday (September 27), revealed his idol's name and surprised the gathering. The actor was addressing the gathering at Indian Institute Of Management, Bangalore (IIMB).
When asked Kamal Hassan about who his favourtie actor is, the actor immediately replayed he won't lie and showed the pictorial proof for it. Kamal asked his secretary for his mobile phone, and took less than two seconds to scroll through his gallery and showed the photo of ace Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar.
"Dilip Kumar tried to do something 40 years ago, in terms of acting. Now, I am trying to do the same," adds Kamal.
Dileep, who is called as Tragedy King in Bollywood industry, was seen in the movies like Saudagar, Karma, Shakathi Mughal-E-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Devdas and other movies. The 90 year old actor had suffered mild heart attack and was admitted to Leelavati Hospital, Mumbai.
Kamal shares a special bond with Bangalore city, since his silent movie Pushpaka Vimana was shot here. He also shares good rapport with Kannada actor Ramesh Arvind, with whom he shared screen in the movies like Rama Shama Bhama, and Tamil movies like Panchatantra, Manmadhan Ambu and others.
