Guruprasad of Mata and Eddelu Manjunatha fame is not in the news for a while. Even his next film Director's Special, which has been in the making for over two years, is not making noise in spite of generating huge curiosity among audience. While the director is trying hard to find a perfect date for the release on one end, he has given nod for his third directorial film, which could make his fans happy.
The buzz says that Guruprasad is finding difficult to get screens. Last month, the director was not keen to release due to Bachchan mania. Adding to that there were many other movies releasing at the same time. And now that Darshan's movie Bulbul is releasing this Friday (May 10), the plans of releasing the film in the third week is likely to be postponed for the same reason. It has to be noted that Suri's Kaddipudi is also releasing on May 23 and that pushes Director's Special release further.
Well, coming back to his third directorial film, it will be produced by Yogesh Narayan of Modala Sala fame. They have reportedly locked in a script. For the first time, the director is coming up with a love story. The film is likely to take off this month itself and actor Dhananjaya, who is acting in Director's Special, will be playing the lead role. Other cast and crew is yet to be finalised.
