Duniya Vijay Doing Film For 1 Rupee

In the time of Sandalwood actors charging more than a crores as the renumeration for movies, here is our Black Cobra Duniya Vijay, who is charging just one rupee as a renumeration for his upcoming movie Ring Road Shubha.

Ring Road Shubha is based on the real story of an advocate Shubha, who was convicted in the murder case of her fiance Girish. It is said that Duniya Vijay will be playing the role of an investigation officer in the movie, which is directed by Priya Belliappa.

Talking to leading portal, Duniya Vijay said, "I was very impressed with their attempt. Moreover, the fact that a whole bunch of ladies were coming together and doing a film is an achievement and I wanted to contribute to that in the best way I could - by being a part of it and not charging for my effort."

Priya, who is thrilled to direct a superstar Vijay said, "We needed a hero for our film and had heard about Vijay's attempts to do different kind of films. When we discussed payment, we made it clear to him that we could not afford his current market rate. Vijay then asked me how much I could pay and I casually said 1. To my surprise, he said OK. For a team of newbies like us, this comes as heartwarming encouragement." Ring Road Shubha will be produced by Priya Belliappa and her friends.
