Know the educational qualification of Kannada actors

Is educational qualification necessary to be an actor? The answer for this is very simple. No, at least not in South film industries. Take examples of the stars like Dr Rajkumar, Kamal Hassan, who never achieved success in academics, but went on the become role models for millions.

"People who reach the top of the tree are only those who haven't got the qualifications to detain them at the bottom," according to English writer and actor Peter Ustinov. That does not necessarily mean that education is not important, but it means that formal education will not guarantee the success in film industry and the passion and desire to succeed are what required in film industry.

Shivaraj Kumar

Being the son of legendary Dr Rajkumar, Shivaraj Kumar never thought of taking up the acting career. As a result, he concentrated on his formal studies.

He did his schooling in Madras and is a engineering graduate.

Upendra

Upendra was an average student. The director-turned-actor did all his education in Bangalore. While doing his bachelor degree, he joined Kashinath's team and worked with him as a script-lyrics writer.

He did B.Com in Acharya Patala Shala.

Ramesh Aravind

Ramesh Aravind was good at studies as well as co-curricular activities. He has done BE from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering.

Sudeep

Sudeep studied at Vasavi Vidyalaya in Shimoga. He ended up doing BE in Mechanical Engineering from Dayanand Sagar College, Bangalore.

Darshan

Darshan was never interested in studies. He always dreamed of taking up acting just like his father Toogudeepa Srinivas. He discontinued his education after PUC.

Puneet Rajkumar

Puneet Rajkumar entered film industry as a child artist. As a result, he could not concentrate on academics. Hence, he was forced to study with the help of a private tutor. He has done diploma in computer science.

Ramya

Ramya did her primary and secondary education at Saint Hildas School in Ooty and Sacred Heart in Chennai, respectively. She joined Saint Joseph College, Bangalore to pursue a degree in commerce, but discontinued after entering the film industry.

Radhika Pandit

Radhika Pandit did her formal education at Saint Colony Convent in Uttara Kannada. She completed her graduation in Mount Carmel College in Bangalore.

Diganth

Diganth's formal education began at Seva Bharathi school in Theerthahalli. He completed his B.Com graduation at Tunga Mahavidyalaya.

Ganesh

Ganesh did his formal education in Nelamangala. He has done diploma in electronics.

Chiranjeevi Sarja

Chiranjeevi Sarja did all his educational courses in Bangalore. He did his schooling at Baldwin school and did a graduation course at Vijaya College.
