Fox Star Gets Hindi Remake Rights Of Lucia

It's known fact that critically acclaimed movie Lucia, which has caught the attention of International audience, will be made in Tamil and Telugu. The latest news is that the movie Lucia is been recognised by Fox Star Studios, which is an International production house and movie distributor company. It is reported that the company has bought the Hindi remake rights of the movie.

Dina Dattani, who is the head of business and legal affairs in Fox Star Studios, has confirmed the news to International daily. She said, "It is one of the most original scripts we have seen and we believe it will make for a very exciting project with the right cast of Bollywood stars."

It is reported that the Hindi version of Lucia will also be directed by Pawan Kumar. Sources said that the Fox Star Studios has bought the remake rights for Rs 60 lakhs.

Lucia is a crowd funded movie, which is made with the budget of Rs 70 lakhs, and it has grossed more than Rs 5 crore in Box Office collection. However, Pawan Kumar has already sold the remake rights for Tamil and Telugu, which is bought by famous movie maker of Kollywood, CV Kumar. Continue reading the story on slides...
