Irrfan Khan Praises Namma Lucia

Pawan Kumar's Lucia is making news for all the right reasons. Starting from the unique concept of making audience to produce the film, first of its kind in the Indian cinema history, to having premiere at London Indian Film Festival (LIFF), it has garnered positive public attention. Now, there is yet another news, which could make Kannadigas proud.

Well, Bollywood-Hollywood actor Irrfan Khan has watched Lucia and has showered praises on the movie and its team. Pawan Kumar had met him at the LIFF and has presented an audio CD of the film. After hearing the tracks, Irrfan Khan, who was impressed with the film, asked the director to screen the movie for him.

Irrfan Khan said, "Pawan gave me the audio CD and I heard the songs. It was very catchy and hurried him to meet me in Mumbai. I saw the film and I am quite impressed with it. It has a very interesting plot and has earnest performances by the lead actors. I wish Pawan all luck and congratulate the investors for having faith in the director. The film is very well-made."

Lucia has Sathish Neenasam and Shruti Hariharan in the lead roles. The movie won the Best Film Audience Award 2013 at the LIFF.
