Kamal Hassan's Uthama Villan, A Medical Drama!

Tamil superstar Kamal Hassan's forthcoming movie Uthama Villan, which will be directed by Kannada actor-director Ramesh Aravind is likely to be a medical drama.

Sources said that Ramesh, who is directing Kamal Hassan's Uthama Villain, had deep discussion with the famous neurosurgeon in the Multi-Speciality hospital, Bangalore. "Ramesh visited Dr Venkataramana, the Chief neurosurgeon at a city hospital, and had a long discussion about tumours," sources added.

Ramesh Aravind is directing Kamal Hassan for the second time. The duo had given the comedy thriller Rama Shama Bhama in 2006. It is said that the shooting of Uthama Villain is likely to begin in the last week of November.

Meanwhile, Ramesh had confirmed that he visited the hospital for research for a script, but would not tell us if it was for Uthama Villain or not.

Kamal Hassan, who was in Bangalore recently, had expressed his happiness for working with his good pal Ramesh Aravind. Tamil icon was in city for the promotion of his upcoming movie Vishwaroopam 2, which is the sequel of Vishwaroopam. The movie is all set to hit the screens in November.

It is said that the Malayali beauty Asin Thottumkal is likely to play the female lead in the Uthama Villain. Ramesh and Kamal have shared screen space in few movies - Sathi Leelavathi, Panchathantra, Rama Shama Bhama and Manmadhan Ambu.
