Karthika and Vedhika in Darshan's Brindavana

Female leads for Darshan's next film Brindavana, a remake of Telugu hit film Brindavanam, has been finally confirmed. Well, Karthika, elder daughter of yesteryear actress Radha Nair, and Vedhika, who has acted in Golden Star Ganesh's Sangama, will be pairing up with the Challenging Star.

Vedhika has confirmed the news on Twitter. She wrote, "Signed my next in Kannada. Its the remake of the Telugu Blockbuster Brindavanam. Will be co-starring opposite Kannada superstar Darshan. :o)" The actress will be stepping into the shoes of Samantha, who was one of the two female leads in the original.

On the other end, Karthika has also confirmed the news and said that she did not have a second thought to accept the film when the offer came her way. The actress, who will be enacting the character played by Kajal Aggarwal in Brindavanam, adds that she considers herself lucky to be working in different industries every year. The actress has already acted in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films.

K Madesh, who had directed films like Gaja and Hudugaru, will be helming the project and Suresh Gowda is producing the film.
