Khatarnak To Release With 'A' Certificate On November 22

It

known
that
Khatarnak
movie
was
awarded
'A'
Certificate
from
the
censor
board
in
October.
Questioning
the
decision
of
censor
board,
the
crew
had
taken
the
movie
to
revising
committee.
The
members
of
revising
committee,
who
watched
the
movie
on
Saturday
(Nov
16),
has
upheld
the
decision
of
Censor
board.
Now,
the
crew
is
all
set
to
release
the
movie
on
November
22,
with
A-certificate.
In
October,
the
censor
board
had
asked
the
crew
to
cut
several
portions
of
the
film,
for
which
they
have
awarded
'A'
certificate.
But,
the
makers,
who
were
arguing
the
need
of
those
scenes,
had
taken
the
movie
to
revising
committee,
with
a
good
hope
of
getting
cleared.
Khatharnak
is
based
on
the
real
life
story
of
psychopath
killer
and
rapist
Umesh
Reddy.
It
has
Roopika,
Ravi
Kale,
Ravi
Verma,
Shobina,
Sharath
Lohitashwa,
Sadhu
Kokila,
Shobha
Raghavendra
and
Bullet
Prakash
in
the
important
roles.
Malavalli
Saikrishna,
who
has
directed
the
movie,
has
also
penned
the
story,
dialogues
and
screenplay.
It
is
produced
by
Aditya
Ramesh.
Actress
Roopika,
who
was
seen
playing
girl
next
door
character
in
Kannada
movies,
plays
the
role
of
a
rape
victim
in
the
movie.
It
is
reported
Khatarnak
will
be
releasing
in
Nartaki
and
other
theatres
across
the
state.
