Kannada superstar Sudeep seems to be unstoppable. His recent movies and the success of his television show Bigg Boss Kannada have taken him to new heights. As a result, he has become one of the most wanted actors of Sandalwood, and big directors from Kannada films are making a beeline to get his callsheet. More importantly, now the actor is also wanted by other language filmmakers.
After working with Ram Gopal Varma and SS Rajamouli, the two big directors of Telugu film industry, Sudeep is all set to work with a top director from Kollywood. Well, it is none other than KS Ravikumar, the man who has a dozen hits to his credits. Kiccha will be joining hands with him for a bilingual movie, which will be made in Tamil and Kannada.
According to the Bangalore Mirror, Sudeep is gearing up for the project in the current year itself. The film is produced by Soorappa Babu. The producer has announced the news and has said that he had three rounds of talks with KS Ravikumar. He will officially announce the news in the coming days. Soorappa Babu adds that the forthcoming movie will not be a remake and it will have a fresh story. Earlier, he had announced a sequel to Kottigobba, which starred late Vishnuvardhan. But the producer confirms that the project with KS Ravikumar is not the second instalment of Kottigobba.
KS Ravikumar had announced earlier that he would be directing Rana starring superstar Rajinikanth. The movie was launched in 2011, but the project was delayed after Rajini fell ill.
Later, Rajinikanth picked up Kochadaiyaan, a prequel to Rana. However, Rana is likely to take off in February 2014.

KS Ravikumar has worked with stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Sarath Kumar, Ajith Kumar and Silambarasan aka Simbu.
Some of his notable movies are: Avvai Shanmughi, Nattamai, Padayappa, Panchathanthiram, Saravana, Varalaru, Dasavatharam, Muthu and Thenali.
Young director Pon Kumar, who had earlier worked with Sudeep in Only Vishnuvardhana, is a protegee of KS Ravikumar. The senior director had watched the movie and had praised the same.
