Karnataka Bulldozers has beaten Telugu Warriors to reach the semi-finals in the ongoing Celebrity Cricket League. The Sudeep-headed team won the match on Sunday at the Heavy Engineering Corporation International Cricket Stadium Complex, Ranchi by 40 runs.

Telugu Warriors had won the toss and decided to field first. But the Karnataka team proved their decision to field wrong as it got a flying start. Though Karnataka Bulldozers lost the wicket of opener Rajeev early, SP Manjunath and Dhruv played well to add 90 runs partnership for the second wicket.

The good partnership came to an end with Telugu warriors bowler Adarsh getting SP Manjunath clean bowled. Captain Kiccha Sudeep did not last long in the crease as he lost his wicket for two runs. However, the foundation that Manjunath and Dhruv laid helped the Karnataka Bulldozers to end the innings with huge 171 runs.

Aditya was the pick among the bowlers as he took two wickets for 21 runs in three overs and opening bowler Raghu turned out to be an expensive bowler with Karnataka Bulldozers scoring 38 runs from his four overs. Continue reading on the slideshow...
