South Indian actor Nassar will be seen in Superstar Upendra's forthcoming movie Brahma - The Leader. The actor, who was last seen in an antagonist role in Kiccha Sudeep starrer Bachchan, will be playing Uppi's father in the movie.
Nassar has confirmed the news to a leading daily. He was quoted as saying, "I play an authoritative father to Upendra. I like the role because it's integral to a very interesting and dramatic story. I've finished shooting my portions and have even dubbed for my scenes."
"I've known Upendra for a while now and when the offer to play his father came to me, I was excited as I was doing a Kannada film after a while, he added. Nassar also said that he is impressed with Upendra's thoughts on film making. He said, "I respect Upendra for his ideas. It was great to work with him as he's a very down-to-earth person."
Apart from Upendra and Nassar, Brahma - The Leader also features Pranitha, Sonu Sood, Ananth Nag, Ranghayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Bullet Prakash, Suchendra Prasad, Sumitra and others in the important roles. Brahma is the trilingual movie, which is simultaneously made in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil. It is directed by R Chandru.
