Hemanth Hegde's Nimbe Hulihas often hit the headlines for wrong reasons. In fact, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, who was supposed to make his Sandalwood debut, opted out of the film and said that the director wishes to rake up only controversies to publicise the film.
Be it a song from the film irking religious groups or a member from the cast complaining about the low-cost attires giving them to sport, Nimbe Huli has garnered attention through controversies. Now, Hemanth Hegde has continued to create a similar kind of news by accusing one of the female leads Komal Jha of unprofessional attitude.
The director has claimed that he would be writing a letter to the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. He does not want other Kannada directors to suffer like him and urges directors not to cast her, as she has given him tough time. It may be recalled that the actress had earlier openly complained about giving her substandard clothes or second-hand dress materials to wear in the film. Later, Hemanth had denied the news.
Nimbu Huli also features Nivedhitha, Komal Jha and Madhurima in the female lead roles. Director Hemanth himself is playing the male lead in the forthcoming Kannada movie. The movie has Sandeep Kumar's cinematography and Veera Samarth's music.
