How different will your Parari be from other comedy films?
There was a belief in film industry that it was impossible to make action movies without glorifying violence. But Aadinagalu proved it wrong. Likewise, people believe that comedy films mainly bank on dialogues. However, I want to break this belief in my latest film and set a new trend. Well, we can make people laugh through visuals too and give the audience a fun ride.

I had this subject in mind since 2007. A friend of mine had narrated me a story! So when I decided to bring the film on-screen, I met actor-director Mohan, who is a close friend of mine since my college days, where we used to participate in inter-college competition, asked him to pen the story and the screenplay. All I can say is that the film is for those who are young at heart.

About your cast...
I have chosen every single actor according to the demands of the script. Everybody in the film perfectly suits their respective character. We have got a very young cast except Bullet Prakash. But we can't see any sign of age on Bullet's face as he looks very young and fits the bill. In fact, I love him as an actor, and his body language and facial expressions are too good. I had seen Shubha's performance in Slum Bala and she had impressed me a lot. Jahnavi Kamath was part of my tele-serial Mugilu and I knew she was a good performer. But I had never seen Shravanth Rao, who was chosen in an audition.

Will it also be released simultaneously outside the state?
I want to release Parari in other states too and also wish to release outside country. My Aadinagalu was released in one screen in Mumbai and two in Delhi.

Finally, what do you say about the healthy trend in Kannada films where youngsters have delivered a few hits with fresh stories in the past couple of months? Do you see Sandalwood is getting back to its original form?
It is a wonderful trend, and good for the industry. If you observe it, we will realise there was no big stars in successful films like Simpleagi Ondu Love Story, Charminar, Mynaa, etc., but they are good actors. It is because of technicians and directors the films have become hits. The large share of credit will go to the directors, who have come up with fresh ideas. When a film is made on a director's vision, the film will definitely reach the audience. The trend was earlier in Tamil and Kannada, where directors like Puttana Kangal made memorable films. Sadly, stars have chosen remake route. It is simple those who cannot create will opt for remakes.
