Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi was in the spotlight at SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards), as she received Best Actress (Critics) Award from yesteryear sensational actress for her performance in Sandalwood flick Shiva. But her happiness almost ended with a shocking incident. Well, the glamorous girl suffered a wardrobe malfunction, which made her uncomfortable for a while.
According to reports, Ragini Dwivedi was performing for a Kannada track when the mishap shocked her. Minutes after the 23-year-old started shaking a leg for the number, she suffered the wardrobe malfunction. The actress had donned a lace outfit with a flimsy bustier covering her. But the bustier lining gave way with just the lace outfit on. The Veera Madakari girl was not aware of it for a few minutes.
Ragini Dwivedi, who was completely involved in the performance, was informed immediately and the lights were dimmed. She was asked to leave the stage. Soon, Telugu producer-actress and television personality Lakshmi Manchu came into her rescue and consoled the Kannada actress. Ragini Dwivedi bagged the Best Actress (Critics) for her performance in Shiva, which starred Shivaraj Kumar in the lead role.

SIIMA Function Held At UAE
SIIMA was held at the Expo Centre Sharjah on September 12 and 13. It is the second edition of the event.
The function was attended not only by Kannada stalwarts, but also some of the big names of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Bollywood film industries.
Priyamani won the Best Actress Award at the second SIIMA Awards for her performance in Kannada movie Charulatha.
Nidhi Subbaiah bagged Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) for her performance in Anna Bond.
Pooja Gandhi bagged Best Actor in a Negative Role for her brilliant acting in Dandupalya. The crime-drama was a biggest hit of 2012.
