Actress
turned
politician
Pooja
Gandhi
was
all
set
to
make
her
comeback
with
Sandalwood's
forthcoming
movie
Abhinetri.
Beside
acting,
the
actress
was
also
producing
the
movie
with
BS
Vyjayanthi.
The
latest
buzz
says
that
the
film
has
been
shelved
as
Pooja
Gandhi
is
running
out
of
the
money
to
shoot
the
film
further.
The
crew
had
started
the
shooting
of
the
movie
on
November
25.
Speaking
to
a
leading
daily,
Pooja
Gandhi
denied
the
rumours
and
said,
"That
is
not
true.
We
have
finished
eight
days
of
shoot.
Some
scenes
of
Makrand
Deshpande
and
Ravishankar
have
already
been
shot.
Meanwhile,
I
got
busy
with
Thippajji
Circle
and
after
completing
the
film,
I
will
resume
work
on
Abhinetri."
Abhinetri
is
a
female
centric
movie,
which
is
directed
by
Satish
Pradan.
Multilingual
actor
Atul
Kulkarni
was
also
roped
in
to
play
an
important
role
in
the
movie.
"I
might
have
accepted
Thippajji
Circle
on
short
notice,
but
that
was
not
for
money,
but
for
the
role.
I
play
a
sex
worker
in
the
film
and
that
is
a
wonderful
role.
That
is
why
I
agreed
to
do
the
film
immediately
and
postponed
Abhinetri," Pooja
added.
However,
Pooja
Gandhi
is
busy
with
the
shooting
of
Thippaji
Circle,
which
is
being
directed
by
Chikanna.
The
movie
is
based
on
the
real
life
story
of
Thippaji,
who
was
a
Devadasi
by
profession.
