Director Prem Serious About Acting Career?

Prem, who became popular with his directorial movies before turning actor, seems to be very serious about his acting career. He has not given nod for any movie to direct in the recent past rather he has accepted a few projects as an actor.

The director-turned-actor made his acting debut in Preethi Yeke Bhoomi Melede in 2008. His first movie as an actor was a dud at Box Office. The failure made him to concentrate on his directorial career.

However, he was approached to act in the movie titled Prem Adda, which was a remake of the Tamil film Subramaniapuram, in 2012. The movie managed to win decent response for him. Eventually he was offered a few movies to act.

Currently, he is busy with Dasavala, which features Akshara Menon in the female lead role. He will be seen in the role of a tourist guide in the film. The upcoming movie is directed by MS Ramesh.

Meanwhile, Prem has given a nod to act in yet another movie. The director-turned-actor, who worked with Mahesh Babu in Prem Adda, is joining hands with the same director again. The movie is titled My Name Is Byre Gowda, the original name of Prem. It will take off next month.

With this development, he is unlikely to director a movie in the near future and his proposed project with Sudeep has also been postponed.
