Priyamani Gives Green Signal For Darshan's Ambarisha

It is official now. Priyamani has given a green signal to act in forthcoming Kannada movie Ambarisha starring Darshan. For the first time, the actress will be pairing up with the Challenging Star of Sandalwood.

The 29-year-old has confirmed to a leading daily that she has given the nod to act in Ambarisha. We have to note that Priyamani was not the first choice for the project. The offer was made to Amala Paul, who rejected the film over remuneration issues. Later, the movie bosses approached the Raam actress.

Bangalore babe Priyamani entered Sandalwood with Puneet Rajkumar's Raam. She has acted with top actors of Kannada films like Ganesh (Eno Onthara), Sudeep (Only Vishnuvardhana), Srinagar Kitty (Ko Ko) and Shivaraj Kumar (Lakshmi). The actress won Best Actress Award for her performance in Charulatha.

Coming back to Ambarisha, the film is directed by Mahesh Sukhdhare. The movie introduces Nisha, the daughter of politician CP Yogeshwar. The movie, which is made with a huge budget, will be launched on August 15. The film is about land mafia.

Ambarisha is produced by Suresh M. It has V Harikrishna's music and Chitan's dialogues.
