Ragini Dwivedi is turning 23 today (May 24). The actress, who is busy with multiple projects, seems to be disappointed for some reason.
Ragini IPS was launched on her last birthday in 2012, and it was announced at the muhurat that the movie would hit the screens on her birthday (today). The makers of the film repeatedly announced that the flick would appear before the aforementioned day. But as the film was delayed to wrap up on time, the film was delayed.
But this is not the reason why Ragini Dwivedi is really disappointed. The exact reason is said to be the censor certificate of the film. The Regional Censor Board has cleared Ragini IPS with U/A which has left her in the state of unhappiness.
The Veera Madakari girl wanted the film to get U certificate. It is because she wanted her film to be seen by all section of audience and particularly women and children. This certificate would make them to think twice before setting their mind to watch Ragini IPS.
"I want U certificate for my film, because a lot of my audience includes women and children. I cannot have a release with a rating that will make people think twice about walking into the theatre with their children or family," the Times of India quoted Ragini as saying.
On the other end, the release of Ragini IPS has been postponed by at least two months. The digital and other technical works are yet to be completed.
Meanwhile, the trailer of Ragini IPS was released recently and it is getting positive response from audience. The punch dialogue and her brilliant presence in the trailer have impressed audience.
For the first time, Ragini Dwivedi is doing an action film. More importantly, she will be seen in the role of a full-fledged khaki-donned cop in the movie.
The movie is directed by Anand P Raju and produced by K Manju. While Emil has composed the songs, Nandakumar is the cinematographer.
