Ragini Dwivedi is one of the most sought after actresses in Kannada film industry. Through her glam avatars, the actress has made her presence felt in Sandalwood. Be it her looks in skimpy cloths or sexy numbers, the 25-year-old ensures that it draws audience attention.
The Veera Madakari actress tasted a huge success in item number 'Thuppa beka thuppa...' from the film Kalla Malla Sulla. This made many filmmakers to make a beeline to get dates for special songs. But no director or actor succeeded in it, as the actress turned cautious about accepting it. In fact, she was supposed to groove for an item number in Prem Adda but after a lot of negotiation, she turned down the offer for some reasons.
However, her decision to give a nod for the song is believed to be connected with two reasons. Firstly, the actress could not say no to director Om Prakash Rao, who directed her in last year movie Shiva starring Shivaraj Kumar.
The other reason is Malashri! It is said that Malashri had launched Ragini's forthcoming movie titled Ragini IPS and wished Ragini good luck for taking up the action role.
Last but not least, the special numbers that come with the Om Prakash-Hamasalekha combo have always been hit. To name a few, 'Jungle hakki baa' in Bava Bamaida and 'Taka taka takaisu...' in Simhadriya Simha are even popular today.
The song featuring Ragini and group dancers will be shot soon.
