It's not the first time for the producers of Sandalwood to be in lurch. There were many such situations in the past where the makers were put into such trouble due to unavailability of lead actors or actresses, death of cast or crew member, legal trouble and financial crisis.
In 1984, the Anugraha movie makers company, who produced Masanada Hoovu were in lurch due to the sudden death of Kannada ace director SR Putanna Kanagal. The shooting was stopped and the crew went in search of the new director, who has the ability to make the movies like the legend director. Later, Putanna Kanagal's close friend KSL Swamy aka Ravi took the responsibility of completing the movie. He was successful in releasing Masanada Hoovu as scheduled before.
Off late, due to the sudden death of director D Rajendra Babu and actor Rajesh has kept the makers of Aryan and Love Is Poison in trouble, respectively. It is said that Rajendra Babu had completed the movie and was left with shooting of the songs, which was scheduled in November. Currently, the shooting is postponed and they are in search of the new director. It is said that they had fixed the shooting schedule depending on Ramya's dates

Love Is Poison
Rajesh had nearly completed shooting of Love Is Poison. He fell to death on Sunday (Nov 3). The producer has said that he was asked to complete few scenes that will link the story.
Director Nandha Prabhu said, "We will not use another actor to fill in and will manage with shots of Rajesh. We have to get someone to dub for him."
