Ram Gopal Varma Praises Edegarike

Director Ram Gopal Varma, who is famous for the action thrillers in Hindi and Telugu industry has praised Kannada movie Edegarike. The director has watched the movie in Mumbai Women International Film Festival (MWIFF).

MWIFF, which was started in Mumbai from October 8, is screening the movies, which are directed by women. Ram Gopal Varma has praised director Sumana Kittur for the wonderful action thriller.

Ram Gopal Varma, who was impressed with Edegarike has appreciated Sumana in social networking site Twitter. He tweeted, "Hi Sumana this is Ram gopal varma from Mumbai..I just saw your film and am very impressed, it was a pleasant surprise to me that such a film can be made in that market..congrats!"

Edegarike was the only Indian movie to get selected in the feature film section, which had the films directed only by women. The other films, which are selected under this category were from US, France and Spain.

Sumana Kittur, who was happy seeing Ram Gopal Varma's tweet immediately responded to it. She tweeted, "The moment I saw your msg,my heart skipped a beat & I had tears in my eyes.Thank u for your kindness sir,I'm a huge fan of yours!"
