Ramya Keeps Her Dad's Memory Alive

Actor turned politician Ramya aka Divya Spandana has launched 'RT Narayan Memorial trophy' for Tennis, which is named after her foster father RT Narayan. It is reported that Sandalwood queen had shared a common love for Tennis with her dad, and decided to institute Tennis tournament in his honour.

Ramya has also said that the tournament will be held between December 9-December 15 at Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA). It is said that Golden girl is also aiming to make the tournament as an annual event.

Speaking to a leading daily, Ramya said, "Dad loved tennis. In fact, earlier this year, we were to head to Wimbledon together, but then he couldn't make it and I went alone. I want to do something in his honour and a tennis tournament just seemed right."

Meanwhile, Ramya has also wrapped the shooting of Aryan in which she is paired opposite Sandalwood king Shivaraj Kumar. The actress, who has become a busy bee in politics should also complete the shooting of Neer Dose. The movie, which has Jaggesh in the lead role will start its last shooting schedule in last week of this month. Ramya has also announced to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections by saying good bye to Sandalwood.
