Kannada actress Ramya was admitted to a hospital in Delhi following high fever on Tuesday evening. The Golden girl of Sandalwood, who plunged into politics, has recently won the by-election and become an MP from the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency. For the last few weeks, she had been busy touring for her political campaign, which made her fall ill. But her spokesperson claims that there is nothing to panic.
Ramya spokesperson took to her social networking page on Tuesday evening to announce the news about her hospitalization. Her rep tweeted, "Ramya has been admitted at Apollo in Delhi. Nothing to panic. The last one month has been very stressful and she is down with a viral infection. She has been unwell since Sunday and still made the trip to Delhi as she had prior commitments for her constituency (Mandya)."
The actress, who won the election with a big margin of 67,611 votes, is all excited about her victory. She is all set to tour her constituency to thanks the voters. Her spokesperson added, "She shall be back soon. She will be touring her constituency starting from September 7. Let's pray for her speedy recovery."
Before the by-election, Ramya has signed several big projects like Dil Ka Raja, Neer Dose, Aryan and Kodi Ramakrishna's untitled film. She has already shot for some of them. But she is yet announce when she will start filming for others. Stay locked to this space to read more updates on Ramya.
