Proclaimed godman Rishikumara Swamya aka Kaali Swamy is all set to make his comeback with Sandalwood's forthcoming movie Kaliyuga. Rishikumara, who is a saint, heads Kaali Sree Mata near Arasikere. He was earlier seen in a small role in the movies like Devrane and 24 Carat.
Chalapathi is making his debut as a director with Kaliyuga. He was the former assistant director of SV Rajendra Singh Babu, Vijaylakshmi Singh and worked with other big names of Sandalwood.
It is reported that Kaliyuga stars mainly newcomers in the important roles, and the shooting of the movie will start from December 5. Sources said that Rishikumara Swamy will be playing an antagonist role in the movie.
In October 2012, Rishikumara Swamy came to light when he was actively protesting against controversial godman Swamy Nithyananda. In a sudden turn of events, the former was caught on camera demanding money to buy peace with the latter. This made the Devarane's director Lucky Shankar to remove few of his scenes from the movie after his true face was revealed.
Meanwhile, the Kaliyuga makers have revealed that this movie is not influenced from Bollywood movie Kalyug. They refused to talk about the movie's theme and Swamy's role in the film. Rishikumara Swamy was also tight lipped about his role.
