Sanjjanna-Thilak: Ganda Hendathi then, siblings now!

Sanjjanna and Thilak are one of the popular on-screen jodis of Kannada film industry. Thanks to their intimacy scenes in the movie Ganda Hendathi way back in 2006 which made them the hottest couple of Sandalwood. However, the actors have moved on after their debut Kannada movie, but the movie has continued to be a matter of debate even today.

Well, Sanjjanna and Thilak have never worked together in a film after Ganda Hendathi. When the two stars came into the Bigg Boss Kannada house, people looked at them with a lot of curiosity and wondered how they would gel in the house. As we witnessed, both the actors were uncomfortable being together at one place and the Ganda Hendathi experience haunted them.

Later, Thilak, in a very casual way, made a remark which was enough for Sanjjanna's face to turn red. The actor had said, "Picture alli nim jothe yella ag hogide ri (We have done everything in the film)." This sparked a controversy and made Sanjjanna to fume over him. Later, when she was eliminated from the show, she used strong words to criticise him.

Speaking to Oneindia, she had claimed, "I was fine with Thilak. He has been a good friend of mine. But his careless comment did not go well with me. I tolerated his cheap comments thrice but fourth time I could not digest. I really lost my patience at his stupid remark. I told him that I did anything and everything for a film. It is limited to films and nothing beyond that. Nobody will pass such comment to an artist and that too on a game show. He did not understand that I am a woman and to what extent such remarks will hurt me."

She added, "Woman's group called once I came out and enquired about the remark. They told me why I did not slap him when he made such comment. I did the movie very long ago. I have acted with some of the fine actors like Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, etc."

Can't Undo The Past Incidents

Sanjjanna concluded, "I have worked hard to reach till here and he should respect it. However, my reaction came when I was very angry and I feared that people would mistake me from those comments. Anyway, we can't undo the incidents that happened in the past."

Sanjjanna-Thilak Again

However, after a gap of two months, Sanjjanna and Thilak were seen together at one platform at the grand finale of Bigg Boss. So, as expected, host Sudeep quizzed them whether they have forgotten the bitter experience and moved on.

Anna Thangi Now

Well, the answer said by Sanjjanna was surprising to many. She said that Thilak was like her brother and she has left the bitter memory behind. She claimed, "Please don't tag us like Ganda Hendathi (Husband-Wife). We are like 'Anna-Thangi'."

Surprising Answer

Thilak too looked comfortable and echoed the same thoughts. Their answers brought smiles in the face of the audience as well as the guests on the Bigg Boss show.

Well, past is past but will they act together again? At least in the roles of siblings. Time will answer.
