Shriya Saran's debut Kannada movie Chandra starring Prem Kumar is set for a massive release. The mega-budget project is gearing up to hit the screens on June 27.
Chandra posters featuring the lead stars will be seen in every corner of Bangalore. In order to make the film the talk of the town, the makers are promoting the movie in each and every other platform.
Be it on FM or TV channels, we will witness one or the other thing (song, video or trailer) appearing every now and then. Roopa Iyer Explains
Talking about promotions, Roopa Iyer said, "We are promoting the
film in every possible way. We are also getting good feedback from
the places like Chikmagalur and Hassan."
Prem Is Missing!
When asked, whether Prem has sorted out the issue and joined the
promotions, she replied, "We have invited him, but he has not
turned up. Hence, we are promoting the movie on our own."
The director has said that Chandra would release in
100+ theatres on June 27. She said, "So far, 100 screens are
confirmed. We are trying to increase the count further."
Shriya Joins Next Week
When asked about Shriya Saran's arrival to the city to promote
Chandra, Roopa Iyer said, "Shriya Saran will be joining us
next week as she is in Canada."
Chandra deals with the life of a last generation
princess and her love story. Jointly produced by India Classic Arts
and Narasimha Arts, the movie stars Prem, Shriya Saran and Tamil
actor Ganesh Venkataraman in the lead roles.
