There were many rumours in the recent days about the Kannada version of reality show Bigg Boss. It was also reported that Kiccha Sudeep would be stepping into the shoes of Salman Khan in the Sandalwood version. Now, we have got an official news straight from the actor. Yes, Sudeep has confirmed that he will be hosting the show.
Speaking to Janasri, Sudeep said that he is all set to return to small screen again with Bigg Boss. He had earlier anchored the show, Pyate Hudugir Halli Lifeu. The Abhinaya Chakravarthy claims that he liked the Hindi version and he did not have any qualms when the offer came his way to host the Kannada version.
Sudeep adds that people have been asking about the show, which is already popular in Hindi, and remaking it in Kannada has not gone well with some of his fans. According to Sudeep, television medium is bigger than films because the former's reach is huge. Even those who rarely watch movies in theatres will see television programmes daily.
Siddu, Priyamani, Uthappa And Murali
However, Opposition leader in the legislative assembly Siddaramaiah, cricketer Robin Uthappa, glamorous actress Priyamani, actors Sri Murali and Radhika Pandit are being approached for the reality show.
The show will be aired on ETV and it is expected to start in March 2013.
There are also chances of Sudeep hosting the show in both Kannada and Telugu, as Kiccha has become a popular name in Andhra Pradesh after Eega.
Meanwhile, the preparation for show are happening at a rapid speed.
