Sandalwood star Sudeep, who is adept at all departments of movie production, has now decided to give a chance to his nephew Sanchith to try his luck in filmmaking. Yes! The 18-year-old, who is the son of Kiccha's elder sister Sujatha, will debut in films with his upcoming Kannada movie. The actor himself has confirmed the news in a statement to a leading English newspaper.
Sanchith has finished his 12th standard and has decided to
pursue education through correspondence. During his free time, he
has closely observed Sudeep on the job at their home studio and
learnt many aspects of filmmaking. In the past, he has also done a
short film titled We Are The Same, which is about his
experience at a village home in Sirsi, while he was on a school
Talking to TOI, Sudeep says that Sanchith is a keen learner and has an aptitude for filmmaking. His family is with him on this decision to enter films. The actor, who began shooting his next directorial Kannada venture from August 25, adds that his nephew "has been completely involved with this film right from its scripting and pre-production stage".
Meanwhile, Sanchith also confirms his debut in Sandalwood, but he is yet to think about acting. "As of now, I am interested in the technical aspects of filmmaking. I haven't really thought about acting," TOI quotes him as saying. Sanchith will leave for USA to pursue a course in filmmaking after completing Sudeep's film.
