Sudeep plays the role of weapon trader in Baahubali

Sudeep shot to fame in South Indian film industry with Eega (Naani in Tamil). The actor, whose talent was restricted only to Kannada film industry till then, came into light with the SS Rajamouli directorial movie. Now, Kiccha is once again acting in the same filmmaker's movie, not in a lead role but it is just a cameo.

The Bachchan star plays the role of a weapon trader in Baahubali. The name of his character in the film is Aaslam Khan. He has shot a sword fight scene with Tamil actor Sathyaraj in the bilingual film. Sudeep's scenes were shot in four days and he has recently completed his portions.

Speaking to Oneindia, Sudeep had earlier said, "I am doing a small character in SS Rajamouli's forthcoming Baahubali. Why small character? It is always a pleasure to go there and work with him and I can't say no to him."

Baahubali Cast

Baahubali stars Prabhas, Rana Dagubatti and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. It is a period-drama, which is jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni and K Raghavendra Rao.

While MM Keeravani has composed the music for Baahubali, KK Senthil Kumar has cranked the camera for the upcoming movie.

Sudeep's Next Movie

However, apart from Baahubali, Sudeep has not signed any other film. He is in talks with a couple of producers, but nothing has been officially announced.

Sudeep-KSR Joining Hands?

Meanwhile, Sudeep is reportedly gearing up for yet another bilingual movie, which will be directed by star Tamil director, KS Ravikumar. It will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Kannada. It is produced by Soorappa Babu.
