Tamil Actor Vijay Impressed By Komal's 'Sarala'

Actor-comedian Komal Kumar's track 'Sarasake baare sarala' from his forthcoming movie Karodpathi, has caught the attention of Tamil superstar Ilayathalapathy Vijay. It is reported that Vijay has appreciated the crew after watching the song on YouTube.

Vijay, who is impressed by the song, has invited the music-composer Abhiman Roy and actor Komal Kumar to his residence in Chennai. The Tamil icon also hailed them for the making of the song, which is making a huge buzz on the YouTube.

It is said that Komal Kumar and Abhiman Roy has been impressed with Tamil actor Vijay's down to earth attitude. The track 'Sarasake baare sarala', which is in retro-style, features Komal Kumar in six different getups, and it is sung by the newcomer Ramanujam. The movie is also marking Komal's debut as a playback singer in Sandalwood. The actor has crooned 'Sannu single ok moonu single ok', which is also getting good response from the audience.

The song, which went viral on YouTube in August, has got more than six lakh views (hits), and is getting positive response from the viewers. Karodpathi has Komal Kumar, Meera Nandan, Jasmine, Dingri Nagaraj, Yathiraj, Guruprasad, Vyjayanth Biradar, Krishna and Malavika Avinash in the significant roles. It is directed by Ramesh.
