Sangeetha Bhat, who is all set play the female lead in Vijay Raghavendra's directorial debut Kismat, has said that she is excited to work with Vijay in the movie. The actress is making her Sandalwood debut with Maamu Tea Angadi.
Speaking to a leading daily Sangeetha has expressed her happiness for getting performance oriented roles in Sandalwood. She quoted, "I am glad that I have started to get performance oriented roles in Sandalwood very early in my career."
Kismat is the remake of Tamil-Malayalam bilingual movie Neeram, which had Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim in lead roles. Vijay Raghavendra has also changed his screen name as Chinnari Mutha Vijay for his directorial venture.
Talking about her role in the movie, Sangeetha said, "I play the role of Ankitha, who is cute and matured girl in the movie and looking forward to work with Vijay who is a wonderful actor." Sangeetha will also be seen in another Kannada movie Preethi Geethi Ithyadi, which is directed by Veerendra.
Apart from Vijay Raghavendra and Sangeetha Bhat, Kismat also features Naveen Krishna, Dileep Raj, Nanda, Tabla Naani and others in the pivotal roles. The crew is all set to start the shooting of the movie from November 25.
