Actor Vijay Raghavendra, who was recently
in limelight for winning the Kannada Bigg Boss title, is
all set to make his debut as a director. The actor will be wearing
the director's hat for Sandalwood's forthcoming movie
Kismat, and he will also act in the movie.
It is reported that Vijay Raghavendra has also changed his name
Mutha Vijay, and actor Naveen Krishna will be penning the
dialogues for Kismat. Speaking to leading daily, Vijay
said, "The story of the film is by me, and Naveen Krishna has
written the dialogues. The film will go on the floor this Friday,
Vijay Raghavendra, who made his on-screen debut with Kannada
movie Chinnari Mutha, had won the National Award as a
Child Artist in 1993. He has also felt that the title 'Chinnari
Mutha' was lucky and so he made this as his screen name.
Vijay quoted, "As a child artist, I won the National Award for
Chinnari Mutha. I felt it was lucky, so I decided to make
that title part of my screen name, and that is how audiences will
know me. Also, as a Bigg Boss winner, I have to maintain
my star value. So I decided to take a chance and do things the way
I like as an actor."
