The
actor,
who
was
called
as
a
Lion
of
Kannada
film
Industry,
will
soon
be
seen
as
a
protagonist
in
a
comic
book
series.
The
book
is
named
after
the
actor's
title
'Sahasa
Simha'.
On
the
celebration
of
the
actor's
64th
Birthday
in
Abhimaan
Studio,
Bangalore,
the
official
announcement
was
made
by
Vishnu's
son-in-law
Anirudh
Jhathkar.
Anirudh
said,
"Sahasa
Simha
is
aimed
at
keeping
the
late
actor
alive
in
the
hearts
of
not
just
the
present
generation
of
fans,
but
also
for
young
people." It
is
said
that
Anirudh
came
up
with
the
idea
of
making
Vishnu
into
a
comic
star
as
kids
easily
associate
with
superheroes.
The
rough
design
of
the
book
was
released
on
Wednesday,
September
18,
by
Karnataka
Governor
HR
Bharadwaj.
The
comic
will
feature
Vishnuvardhan,
where
he
helps
his
grand
children
Jyesta
and
Shlokha
to
fight
crime.
The
book
will
be
released
on
December
30,
2013.
It
is
said
that
the
movie
Sahasa
Simha,
which
was
released
in
the
year
1982,
gave
him
the
title
'Sahasa
Simha
Vishnuvardhan'.
Vishnu
performed
daredevil
stunts
in
the
movie
without
using
the
body
double.
Bollywood
diva
Kaajal
Kiran
was
paired
opposite
Vishnuvardhan
in
the
movie,
and
it
was
directed
by
Joe
Simon.
