Maverick
director
Yogaraj
Bhat,
who
is
gearing
up
for
his
debut
Bollywood
movie,
has
bagged
Best
Lyricist
Award.
In
the
BT
Film
Awards
2012,
his
song
'Gombe
aadsonu'
from
Drama
has
been
chosen
as
the
best
track.
According
to
Yogaraj
Bhat,
life
is
a
puppet
show
and
we
are
actors.
He
has
tried
to
tell
the
same
in
'Gombe
aasdonu'
in
Drama
from
the
modern-day
youth's
point
of
view.
Though
he
is
not
a
religious
person,
but
the
thought
of
supreme
power
controlling
everything
fascinated
him
to
pen
down
the
lines
for
the
song.
Speaking
to
a
daily,Yogaraj
Bhat
said,
"The
challenge
is
to
break
the
stereotype.
We
hardly
ever
get
a
chance
to
get
philosophical
in
our
songs.
You
succeed
when
you
are
able
to
convey
your
message
in
a
funny
or
sarcastic
manner
and
ensure
that
your
song
features
on
the
playlist
of
a
person's
music
player."
Yogaraj
Bhat's
Drama
was
one
of
the
biggest
hits
of
2013.
The
Kannada
movie
starrerd
Yash,
Radhika
Pandit,
Neenasam
Sathish
and
Sindhu
Lokanath
in
the
lead
roles.
Meanwhile,
Yogaraj
Bhat
is
busy
preparing
for
his
debut
Bollywood
movie.
He
has
temporarily
shifted
to
Mumbai
with
his
team.
But
the
director
has
not
opened
up
much
on
his
prestigious
movie,
which
will
be
reportedly
made
in
Hindi
and
Kannada.
