Big Stars and filmmakers of Sandalwood has slammed BJP leader Aaynoor Manjunath and Congress leader Kimmane Ratnakar for passing a lure comment on the artists of Kannada film industry, who were the part of Geetha Shivaraj Kumar's political campaign. The opposition leaders of Geethakka's party had alleged that Hattrick Hero Shivaraj Kumar is showing the free street show in Shimoga by inviting the Sandalwood stars, which will not benefit him to get votes in election.
Karunada Chakravarthy Shivaraj Kumar's wife Geetha Shivaraj Kumar is the first person from Kannada's cultural icon Dr Rajkumar's family to enter politics. She is the JDS contestant from Shimoga for upcoming Lok Sabha Polls, who is getting huge support from many Sandalwood Stars. Kannada superstars like Upendra, Prem Kumar aka Nenapirali Prem, Yogesh aka Loose Madha Yogesh, Sanjjanna Galrani, Amoolya and others were seen participating in Geethakka's political campaign.
The duo - Manjunath and Ratnakar had commented on Shivaraj Kumar for campaigning in his movie's style. They had said that singing, dancing and punching dialogues of Shivanna will not work in elections to get votes. It is nice to see all that on-screen and enjoy. Sandalwood's maverick movie maker S Narayan, who is supporting JDS candidate in Mandya said, "We might support different parties, it is our choice, but basically we are all artists. Let Manjunath and Ratnakar mind their tongue."
Supreme Hero Shashi Kumar, who is supporting Congress candidate from Tumkur said, "I condemn the comments made by Manjunath and Ratnakar. They cannot taslk non-sense on the artists and their duty."
"We are all the worshipers of art. I am deeply hurt by the comments made by Manjunath and Ratnakar," says Jaggesh, who was participating in BJP campaigning.
Shivaram, JDS contestant from Bijapur said, "I condemn Ratnakar and Manjunath for their comments on art and artists. They should seek apology for the actors in public."
Black Cobra Duniya Vijay, who is supporting Shivaram in Bijapur said, "We are all artists. It is common for the stars to get invite from many political parties. It is a friendly affair between the actors and politicians, which doesn't mean something else."

"We are here for Shivanna, as we all love him and admire him. We are not cheating the people," says Yogi, who is supporting Geetha Shivaraj Kumar in the campaign.
